This ability aids first-time user since functions will already familiar. experienced EPLD user will also benefit being able increase design productivity with function blocks.
Most MacroFunctions commonly used 7400 series parts. specific Altera particularly well suited logic design with Altera EPLD architecture. These have been designed EPLD design experts contain inner logic behavior maximize EPLD speed utilization.
Altera MacroFunctions very versatile. They used together with user designed Macro-Functions and/or with Altera level logic primitives depending logic needed. inputs outputs EPLD programmed specified with Altera design primitives.

MACROFUNCTION LlBRAFtY
PLSLIB-TTL library contains over functions. This library includes most commonly used parts such counters, decoders, encoders, shift registers, flip-flops, latches, multipliers, etc. parts library were carefully chosen that function already library easily implemented using existing part some Altera level gate primitives. MACRO-MUNCHING
unique function built into A+PLUS Design Processor ensures that MacroFunctions causes loss design efficiency. A+PLUS Design Processor analyzes complete logic circuit automatically removes unused gates flip-flops from MacroFunction used. This Macro-Muncher allows user ease designing level with efficiency gate level design. also alleviates headaches associated with optimizing parts.

addition provided elements, users create their MacroFunctions using ADLIB (Altera Design Librarian). ADLIB takes custom logic functions described with basic gates, flip-flops, boolean equations symbols automatically generates MacroFunction symbol
