LVDS most widespread high-speed signaling technology generally requires least amount power while supporting data rates from 3.125 Gbps. supports data rates high Gbps while generally maintaining lowest jitter.
Signal conditioning using equalization pre-emphasis (for CML, de-emphasis) enables both technologies significantly extend cable backplane reach compensating media loss.
