Overview
This chapter describes control basic requirements MC13853 evaluation board (Iota VI). following items supplied with Freescale MC13853 Demo Kit: MC13853 evaluation board (Iota) Serial peripheral interface (SPI) board (MMM6038SPI) Control software CD-ROM control cable harness evaluation board interconnects with MMM6038SPI eight wire cable. MMM6038SPI connects parallel port cable computer. evaluation board, coaxial connectors type. order minimize damage these, connections made using loss flexible coaxial cables with male connectors mating towards evaluation board. mating surfaces must clean (tissue paper standard grade isopropyl alcohol used); not, amplifier performance affected. applied torque 5/16" wrench connecting point must exceed manufacturers specification. There total female connectors attached evaluation board. control connector 8-pin, right-angle header type. Appendix Control Wiring Harness" provides details cable harness wiring. Chapter Basic Test Equipment Setup
Overview
test evaluate performance MC13853 environment, test plan test equipment bench set-up necessary. basic test plan made following MC13853 data sheet obtaining same measured parameters.
