DESCRIPTION
HTZ-3 Tension Measurement Modules designed mount directly below roller pillow blocks existing installations. Each module includes integral mounting with optional pillow block adapter plate. Adapter plate design allows upward downward measurement provides safety stop installation points each corner. Transducers machined from high strength stainless steel yield rugged Beam sensing section. full Wheatstone bridge array temperature compensated, Foil SR-4® Strain Gages attached this section calibrated precision accuracy. Resulting temperature stability closely matching expansion coefficient sensing section gages. Module sealing meets NEMA IP65 requirements. integral cable conduit fitting, epoxy sealed strain gages, stainless steel transducer ensure long-term reliability washdown locations. Space required below pillow block bearing minimal, resulting negligible line profile changes retrofit installations. Overall height 1000 pound module inches. Vishay provides HTZ-3 sizing recommendations based upon actual sensing roll configuration. Modules calibrated certified with matched output signals permit on-site, push-button system calibration.
