Precautions
When working using this type equipment, following precautions should noted:
This unit must installed, serviced, operated only skilled qualified personnel have necessary knowledge practical experience with electrical equipment understand hazards that arise when working this type equipment. equipment could powered multiple inputs. Ensure that appropriate circuit protection device each input being serviced disconnected before servicing equipment. disconnect permanent bonding provisions unless inputs disconnected. Batteries connected parallel with output rectifiers. Turning rectifiers will necessarily remove power from bus. Make sure battery power also disconnected and/or follow safety procedures while working equipment that contains hazardous energy/voltage. Hazardous energy voltages present unit interface cables that shock cause serious injury. Follow safety warnings practices when servicing this equipment. When equipped with ringer modules, hazardous voltages will present ringer output connectors. addition proper training safety procedures, following some basic precautions that should always used: only properly insulated tools. Remove metallic objects (key chains, glasses, rings, watches, other jewelry). Wear safety glasses. Fuses produce sparks. High energy levels buses distribution components produce severe arcing. Test circuits before touching. Lock circuit breakers/fuses when possible prevent accidental turn aware potential hazards before servicing equipment. Identify exposed hazardous electrical potentials connectors, wiring, etc. (note condition these circuits, especially wiring). care when removing replacing covers; avoid contacting circuits.
