8/10 Channel Thin Film Read/Write Devices
32R2103R/04R/05R BiCMOS monolithic integrated circuits designed with two-terminal recording heads. They provide noise read amplifier, high performance write driver, write current control, data protection circuitry channels. 32R2103R/04R/05R option provides internal damping resistors. Damping resistors switched during write mode switched during read mode. 32R2103/04/05 option does provide damping resistors. Power supply fault protection provided disabling write current generator during power sequencing. System write read recovery time significantly improved making read channel outputs high impedance. device also offers multiple channel "servo bank write" capability assist servo writing operations. 32R2103R/04R/05R requires power supplies. 32R2103R/2105R provides PECL write data input with flip-flop. 32R2104R provides PECL direct write data input without flip-flop.
