This application note describes hardware programming methology used program 27C1512T time programmable EPROM.

First 27C1512T inserted into least significant adaptor board. adaptor board plugged into programmer. Then data file that contains 32,768 bytes data that contains least significant bits loaded into programmer. programming algorithm used Hitachi HN27C101A Megabit EPROM. This algorithm assumes megabit EPROM being programmed. Since 27C1512T does have addresses A16, programmer will around reprogram first 32,768 bytes left There ways deal with this. first approach address boundaries programmer stops programming address 32,769. This will keep programmer from raping around programming over already programmed space. programmer being used does have ability stop programming predetermined address, then upper 98304 addresses data file should filled with FF's. Since programmed cannot reprogrammed data already programmed into lower 32,768 bytes overwritten.

Once programmed they cannot reprogrammed 1's. Since control lines tied together, both devices will receive programming pulse. With least significant inputs pulled high, already programmed data will over written.
